Louise Fowler Powers

POWERS, Louise Fowler, 93, on December 12, 2008, went to be with her Savior, with her family at her bedside. Born June 15, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Charles G. and Annie O. Fowler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward M. Powers; her sisters, Frances F. Cullather and Sister Mary Alice Fowler (Order of St. Vincent DePaul); and her brother, Charles G. Fowler Jr. She is survived by her three children, Kerry E. Powers and his wife, Eileen, Anne P. Walton and her husband, Mike, and Monica Gragnani; six grandchildren, David and Maureen Powers, Shannon Wiltshire, Kristin and Allison Walton, and Kyle Gragnani; two great-grandchildren, Burke and Everly Powers; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, December 15, followed by a Rosary Service at Blileys-Central, 3801 Augusta Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Benedicts Catholic Church. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor or to the Cullather Brain Tumor Quality of Life Center, 5875 Bremo Rd., Suite 108, Richmond, Va. 23226.
