BUCHANAN, Mavis P., widow of J. L. Buchanan Jr., died on January 11, 2009 in Cocoa Beach, Fla. She is survived by her four children, Sally B. Clement and husband, Carroll, of Heathsville, Va., Anna B. Campbell and husband, Joel, of Springfield, Va., Dr. J. Leo Buchanan and wife, Nancy, of Hawaii and David P. Buchanan and wife, Ina, of Richmond, Va.; a sister, Anne Ford and husband, Clinton, of Richmond, Va.; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and niece, Georgeann Wilkinson of Richmond, Va. A memorial service will be held at Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall at 520 Plumosa Dr., Merritt Island, Fla., on Sunday, January 18, at 4 p.m.

Dear Sally, Anna, Leo and David,

Mom and I are so saddened by the loss of a truly inspirational and lovely woman. We will miss her wonderful spirit in our lives. I will always cherish her memory and continue to be proud of the way she lived her life. We love you all and wish that we could be there with you.
