To the Bateman Family, To Donna: Our thoughts and prayers are with you all, what a wonderful man, Charlie, (Jr.) always had a kind heart. He loved his garden, we know, Papa-Russell would always go over to Charlie's to help with those tomatoes plants, boy they were the best!!! My father-in-law, like my Dad will really MISS him. True friends for such a life time. God is at those golden gates, with his halo and wings ready, our Rose Marie is there to greet him, he is at peace, free from sorrow and all the pain...When ever I (Rena) would see Charlie, his famous saying would be HEY BABY!!!! Then he would just grin all over his face.. I would get so tickled at him, what a wonderful friend, he will be truley missed, by all of us, his memories and kind heart will never be forgotton, by the way your fishing rod is ready for you to go fishing any time you want....those tears will for ever be in our eyes, just loving and missing you, but we know now that you are in a peaceful and beautiful place, God's beautiful garden, WE LOVE YOU CHARLIE (JR,) BATEMAN, You will be forever in our hearts, may God Bless all the family and friends at this sadden time today and forever.... My thoughts and prayers go out to the Bateman family.. I remember all the times seeing him at my Dad's house and working in the garden. I guess dad an him are in heaven talking about when to plant those tomatoes and about fishing.. Charlie will be missed. Keep your memories close and they will ease the sorrow.

Bateman family & friends,
Our boys will miss visiting Charlie & getting cookies!
He always had fishing & gardening advice & wisdom to share. This is what we will remember everyday and carry on the traditions he taught.
It is comforting to know that he is healthy again & no longer suffering.
He will be missed.
