CHELLIAH, Katherine, entered peacefully into eternal life Thursday, January 15, 2009. She is survived by her children, Leonie Alphonso, Adrian Chelliah, Eldridge Chelliah, Dennis Chelliah and Dawn Evans; grandchildren, Nicolet Alphonso, Michelle McGloan, Richard Cook, Maritana Soysa, Sharon Boni, Sunshine Evans and Jessica Chelliah Nguyen; great-grandchildren, Lilly, Michael, Macey and Mason; and sister, Claire Jacotine of Australia. Katherine was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka on August 18, 1919. There will be a memorial service at the St. Mary's Hospital Chapel on Bremo Road on Monday, January 19, at 2 p.m.
