SIMMONS, Houston A. Sr., of Richmond, died January 16, 2009. Surviving are his beloved wife, Ingrid Simmons; children, Jeremy Afrika, Malcolm, Elizabeth and Jazz Simmons; three sisters, Barbara Lowe (Wiley), Valdosta Mann and Jeroldine Simmons (Cliff); host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Monday, January 19, 2009, 11 a.m. at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Rev. Ronald Taylor officiating. Online guest book at www.scottsfuneralhome.com.
