Mary L Smith this is my "Grandma". She was my heart, she was always there for me and my family. When every you needed something or asked for advice she would find it for you and give you those encouraging words that would lift your spirit. She was a real family person. Family came first to her. She was a very spritual person i remember in the mornings she would pray for almmost an hour She would pray everyone and everyone promblems and ask GOD to delivere them. Even when I gave up in my self you still had faith and me and she would keep me focused and on the right path. So she ment alot to me and is going to be missed by many. !!RIP GRANDMA!!

It will be the little things that you will remember the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter.
And although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memory of all things that will help push away the pain and bring the smiles back again.

I bid you God's blessing, peace and understanding during your loss.

Linda, Greg, Earl and Family,

I am very sorry to hear of your loss---"Miss Mary" as we used to call her. She used to make the best home-made rolls in Southside, in fact, I think I ate and stayed over Greg's more than I stayed at home, back in the ole 'Blackwell' days. Miss Mary would say, "Jerome Taylor, don't you have a home to go to?"...we would all just laugh and go back upstairs. The funny part about it...I lived next door. Those were the days.

Greg, Linda, Ronnie, Audrey, and Earl,
although these condolences come from miles away, I want you and the family to know that my heart, thoughts and prayers are there with you during this sad occasion. If there's anything I can do, do not hesitate to contact me as I'm only a phone call away. May the Lord bless you during the difficult days ahead, but remember...there's calm after the storm.

Family Friend,
Jerome Taylor
