Dear Frank & Family, I was shocked and saddened when Billy told me about Suzanne's passing. It was like yesterday that our families were having fun at the Edgehill pool and cookouts and other activities. The many activities that the youngsters participated in sure helped them become vital citizens of their communities today. My thoughts, prayers, and many good thoughts are with each of you as you transition through this difficult time. Love, Bill Parker

Cynthia,
I did not know until this past week and few days that your mom was ill. I am so sorry for the pain and void you have in your heart and life now. I wish I could offer words of comfort, I search daily myself. She is in a better place. In some way I hope that her seeing people that have gone before her is of some comfort. Mrs. Evans (Wiss/Buzz's mom) and my mom - as well as others. When I was told of the news my first thought that came to mind is her sweet smile. I wish I was closer to reach out to you in person but know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers. We have had so much in common over the years, our weddings, our last names, our first borns with in weeks, then 2nd born.....I am so sad that we share this in common now.
I know how much you will miss her....always.
Hugs. Love, Jenny Stadheim, Kaitlin and Ellee

Dear Family,

My sincere sympathy to all of you. There are so many things to share about Suzanne and all the parades during the Yorkettes days. I have fond memories of Suzanne's parents which lived down the street and always bought whatever I was selling for school. Suzanne introduced me to her sister Betsy, I babyset for her children many times. Cynthia and Steven your mom was always so proud of you. I haven't seen you in years, but I cherish our time together growing up in Edgehill.

Cynthia, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time of such devastating loss. Your mother touched so many lives and was a guiding light to so many young people through her work as the instructor of the Yorkettes. Her spirit will live on in the lives of those youngsters she trained so diligently. May God be with you and your family in the days ahead.

Uncle Dewey called to tell my mother, Nancy Morris Grant, about dear Suzanne's passing and we were saddened to hear of it. May she rest in the eternal rest of the Lord our God. My mother can't type due to her blindness...but wanted me to convey that she vividly remembers carrying Suzanne around as a 1 year old baby down at the family farm in Jeetersville. My mother said that would have been about 1944...and that Suzanne was the cutest baby with darling dimples. I think my mother treated her like her own baby doll that summer.
Blessings and Love to the family. Our prayers are with you.

Cynthia,
your mom, like mine, was taken way too early. Suzanne had so much more to give. Know that she delighted in you and Steven and her grandkids. I remember her saying that she could never live long enough to scrapbook all the things she wanted to. At that time, she did not know her life would be shorten by this terrible disease. she was truly influential to me in my youth with the Yorkettes. It was because of her that I took my first plane trip to Notre Dame!! She inspired me to do better all th time.
I pray that you and your family and your father can find peace in knowing she is with our Lord. Our family will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Uncle Frank and family. I wanted you to know that you are all in my prayers. Suzanne was always great to me when I was there. She used to email me about the family and her time in Chincoteague, Va. She was so proud of her family and loved you all so very much. She also loved helping the ponies in Chincoteague so much. I know she will be truly missed by everyone. May your memories help you in this time and know she is not suffering. God bless you all.
