David and Family,
I extend my deepest sympathy to you in your loss. Your parents were such an important part of my early years, growing up in Floyd County. I have many fond memories of them. They were wonderful people, and I know you will find comfort in remembering their many special contributions to those around them.

David; I was sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. Has been many moons since our path has crossed. Your parents were indeed wonderfull folks and I know that they were both a guiding factor in your life. Wanted to let you know that you are in our thoughts.

David,
I boarded with your parents when you lived in Floyd, and your dad was superintendent. It was the spring of 1965, and I was a student teacher at the high school. I have such fond memories of your family. You were such a cute "little" boy then. There were three of us from Radford. Your mother furnished breakfast for us each morning. Your parents were very gracious!!!!

Dear David,
My condolences go out to you and your family on the death of your mother. I came to know your mother and Cotton when she lived at Southerland Place when I visited my mother. I will always remember the good laughs we had.
