RANDALL, Rev. Tori Rae, 48, of Amherst, Va., formerly of Richmond, Iowa and Minnesota, passed away January 9, 2009. She was a graduate of University of Iowa 1983/84 with a Bachelor's in Pre-Law and a Bachelor's in Sociology. Tori was also a graduate of the Union Presbyterian School of Christian Education with a Master of Divinity. Survivors include her parents, Collin and Shirley Switzer Randall; a brother, Tote Randall (Susan); a sister, Tonya Evenson (Bret); and two nieces and three nephews. She was the pastor of three United Methodist churches, Mt. Pleasant, Mt. Horeb and Ivy Hill, all under the Mt. Pleasant Charge. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church, 650 Thrashers Creek Road, Amherst, Va. 24521. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Union-PSCE, 3401 Brook Road, Richmond, Va. 23227; Mt. Pleasant Charge, P.O. Box 1076, Amherst, Va. 24521 or your local Humane Society.

Tori was a classmate of mine from Reinbeck High School in Iowa.We graduated in 1979 together. I am very sorry to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
