William Forman Obituary

FORMAN, "Bud" William Curtis Jr.," 67, of Callao, Va., passed away on Friday, February 6, 2009, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Forman was born April 2, 1941 in Mount Holly, New Jersey. He was a member of Cobham Park Baptist Church in Warsaw, Virginia, and was part of the Cobham Park Choir, which he enjoyed immensely, and enjoyed ministering to the youth. He was an active member of Westmoreland Lodge #212 A.F.&A.M., where he served as Worshipful Master in 2006 and 2008. He was also the District Education Officer for District 9. Mr. Forman also belonged to Mount Moriah Lodge No. 28 F.&A.M. in Bordentown, New Jersey. He had been a member of the Masonic Fraternity for 35 years. He also belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star in New Jersey, where he was a Grand Patron for the State in 1989-1990. He is survived by his wife, Joanne J. Forman; one son, William C. Forman III of Chesterfield, New Jersey, and his spouse, Kathy; two daughters, Wendy Foster of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and her spouse, Rusty, and Denise Hahn of South Brunswick, New Jersey, and her spouse, Mark; and five grandchildren, Ryan, Bradley, Kayla, Alyssa and Alexia; two sisters, Leah Gorge and Dot Forman of Columbus, New Jersey. He will be greatly missed by his dear friend, James Walder and family from Warsaw, Virginia, and Todd Tardiff and family from Florence, New Jersey. The family will receive friends at Cobham Park Baptist Church in Warsaw, Va., from 2 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 8, 2009, followed by a Masonic Service. A memorial service will be conducted by Rev. Donald Bowen in the church chapel at 3 p.m. Jones Ash Funeral Home in Rainswood, Va., handled the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Youth and Music Ministry, Cobham Park Baptist Church, P.O. Box 306, Warsaw, Virginia 22572.

We will miss seeing Bud at gatherings at the Walders home. We are thankful we were able to spend time with him over the past years. He was a wonderful person and will be missed by all.
