Marie Cornelia Forman

Marie Cornelia Forman, age 90, passed away December 9, 2025. Loving mother to Christine, Celeste (Bernhard Stimmel), Anthony and the late Andrew (Kimberly). She was married to the late William Forman for 43 years. She is also survived by her sister Elaine, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, and preceded in death by grandson, Corey Forman.
Marie was a resident of Sterling Heights for 60 years. She was a shining example of a 60's home maker, keeping a beautiful home and preparing exceptional meals that were ready at 5pm every day. As her children grew, she found employment with Capital Analysts in Troy as an Administrative Assistant where she obtained her insurance license and worked for 20 years.
In her later years, she became very involved with work at St. Rene Goupil in Sterling Heights with the Legion of Mary. She was President for many years and volunteered in projects promoting adoration to the Virgin Mary. In her younger years, Marie played piano, skied, created beautiful pencil drawings and did yoga. She also enjoyed knitting, sewing, math and was a wizard at crossword puzzles.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff and caregivers at Pomeroy Assisted Living in Sterling Heights, where Marie spent her last years and won their hearts with her feisty personality and unique communication.
Visitation will take place Monday, December 15, 2025, from 3pm to 8pm at Lynch and Sons Funeral Directors, 1368 North Crooks Road, (between 14 & 15 Mile Road), Clawson, MI, 48017. Viewing at St. Rene Goupil, 35955 Ryan Road, Sterling Heights, MI, 48310, Tuesday, December 16, 2025, from 9am to 9:30am, immediately followed by a funeral mass.
Interment after the mass at White Chapel Cemetery, 621 West Long Lake Road, Troy, MI, 48098.
