Emroy M. Adams

ADAMS, Emroy M. "Boodie Bump," went home to Christ on February 5, 2009, after battling ALS and lung cancer. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, John and Mary Adams; and five brothers. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Daisy; three sons, Kent, David and Marvin; a devoted daughter, Marquita; three grandsons, David, Marvin and Keion; one devoted granddaughter, Takara, all of Richmond, Va; one sister, Lucille Atkins; three brothers, Osbourne, Lester and Adolph; one brother-in-law, four sisters-in-law, all of Emporia, Va., one daughter-in-law of Norfolk, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The memorial service will be provided by Knox-High Mortuary on Saturday, February 14, 2009, 1 p.m., at Rising Star Baptist Church in Emporia, Va. For further information, call 804-226-4007.
