KIRBY, Eleanor Primosch, 87, of Richmond, died Friday, February 13, 2009. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Francis John Primosch; second husband, James H. Kirby. She is survived by two sons, Thomas F. Primosch (Martha) and Robert E. Primosch (Lorie); two stepdaughters, Colleen K. Scanlon (Jim), Anne K. Matson (Tom); eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Mrs. Kirby was a member of the Catholic Women's Club, the Tuckahoe Women's Club, the Council of the Virginia Museum and President - Bon Secours St. Mary's Hospital Auxiliary. The family will receive friends 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, and where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 9505 Gayton Rd., Richmond, Va. 23229. Arrangements by Bliley's.

Eleanor's volunteer friends from St. Mary's Hospital want her family to know that she will be missed very much. Although she had not volunteered actively since 2001, many of her friends here remember her very fondly and admire her for all the years of service she gave to this hospital.
