WALTON, Sarah Clements, 90, of Church View, departed this life February 17, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, William Earl Walton; daughter, Joyce Walton; grandson, Kevin Brian Walton; sister, Ella Carmine; and brother, Herbert Clements. She is survived by her son, Ellis Walton (Linda) of Church View; brothers, Robert Clements (Barbara) and Leonard German (Jeanette); grandson, Chris Walton; granddaughter; Mollie Church (Brandon); stepgrand-daughters, Melissa Koch and Rebekah Vernau; five great-grandchildren; and special friends, Betty Horsley and Susan Jones. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2009, in Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda. Interment Hermitage Baptist Church Cemetery, Church View. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial gifts may be made to the Central Middlesex Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 790, Urbanna, Va. 23175.
