Kathy, I just recently heard about Perry's passing. Perry and you were part of our favorite memories at Sunken Meadows. Your Sunken Meadows house on the corner that was such a lovely place, the crab walking stones that you and Perry made for us, the holiday gatherings at Harold White's are all great memories. I use to see Perry at the Chester McDonald's for breakfast and kept up with you through this meeting after the loss of Sunken Meadows as a gathering spot. Susie and I want to extend our condolances for your loss.

Perry and his sister Roberta were very good friends of mine from Sunbury High School, in Sunbury, NC. It was a shock last evening when I received a call from my sister, Rita Stallings telling me of the passing of Perry. He was such a funny guy and his laugh will always be remembered. I would like to extend my condolences to you and your family. May he rest in peace and my God guide you through this difficult time. Nancy Benton Pronechen(Santa Rosa, CA)

Perry was a good friend from high school. I remember his great sense of humor; I can hear his laugh today, even though it's been almost 50 years. Blessings to Kathy and the girls, and special condolences to Roberta, who was my good friend and Perry's too. I know he will be missed by many for his easy gentle ways.
