Big Har will surely be missed by many. The world is truly a better place as a result of Mr. Ibbotson walking among us. Your husband, father, grandfather, cousin, uncle, friend and mentor was like a second father to me. He meant so much to me and my family and I feel truly blessed to have been influenced by him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

I am sorry to hear of Harry's death. I not only taught with him at Bonnie Brae but he was also my son's sixth grade teacher at Oak View. Paul had great respect for Harry as did I. I enjoyed his calm manner and sense of humor. He is missed.

To his family, my deepest sympathy. Mr. Ibbotson taught my daughter's 5th grade class @ Bonnie Brae. I remember him as a wonderful, caring and perceptive teacher. We all loved him and he was a favorite among all of the students. He will be missed by so many, I am sure.

Kass, our hearts and prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time. Harry was so loved by his school family. In fact more then oce he was fondly referred to as a "teddy bear" by so many of us. His students saw a unique teacher, who truly loved each and every one of them. They had no doubt about that. We all shared in his love of teaching, students, and colleagues. I hope he had time to sit on the nail keg at the local store. He talked a lot about that!!!!
May you find peace in knowing how much he was loved and will be missed by so many.

Bonnie Brae was a happy place because of teachers like Harry! Thank you for making this world a better place. To his family I pray that Harry's spirit will give you a sense of calm at this difficult time.

Pete: We are sorry for your loss of your big Brother. Surely he stands next to Jesus, completely understanding all of God's mysterious ways. We hope this poem will help to ease your grief.
"Whatever your cross,
Whatever your pain,
There will always be sunshine
After the rain...
Perhaps you may stumble,
Perhaps even fall,
But God's always ready
To answer your call...
He knows every heartache,
Sees every tear,
A word from His lips,
Can calm every fear...
Your sorrows may linger,
Throughtout the night,
But suddenly vanish by
Dawn's early light...
The Savior is waiting
Somewhere above,
To give you His grace,
And send you His love...
Whatever your cross,
Whatever your pain,
"God always sends rainbows...
After the rain..."
