Dear Bob
First of all, we missed the death notice in the paper. We would have definitely atended the memorial service if we had known. It seems we are at a memorial service every week. We just celebrated the passing of Barbara Burkhart and Gene Murrell. We rejoice that Mary is no longer suffering. Our love and prayers are extended to you. The Lord truly rewards the man or woman who finds His calling as a nurturer. Many blessings to you in the days ahead. May the Love, Joy, and Peace of the Holy Spirit be with you.
Love and prayers,

DEAR BOB AND FAMILY
Today, I rejoice and grieve with you. Rejoice for my sweet friend, Mary, who is with her precious Lord, and grieve with you over our loss of this angel in our midst. I haven't seen Mary for years, but cherish the precious letter I received at Christmas. The memories of growing up with her in church and our high scool years together have always been so dear to me. I will never forget our trip together to visit her aunt following our highschool graduation. We rode the bus from Hattiesburg, MS to Rochester, MN. We had so many interesting experiences on that trip. I wish we could have had a chance to sit down and remember them together. Mary was the same in those days as she has been all these years....sweet, thoughtful, talented, godly, pretty, loyal, etc. etc. and in love with her Savior. I pay tribute to one of the greatest friends I have ever known.

Bob,
Dirck and I were shocked and saddened by the news of Mary's death, which we heard from Woody. Mary was such a good soul and gracious lady. Many times, as we talked on the phone, I heard her playing the piano, always such a pleasure. Our prayers of peace and comfort go out to you and your family. She will always be in our hearts.

Almost 20 years ago I was greatly in need of a word from God. I called Mary and she gave me hope from Scripture. She said the people were in trouble and called out to God... saying, We know not what to do but we trust in You, Lord. Those words gave me a focus and I've never forgotten how she spoke peace and advice from her great store of wisdom. A friend of mine said she could have watched Mary play the piano ALL day! Truly she was a Vessel of Honor! Bob,you & your family are in my prayers.

It was truly a honor to take care of Mrs. Turnage and to meet all of her family and friends. She had a very kind and caring heart and such a great spirit about her. We will miss seeing her smile, and her wonderful family.

I know Mrs. Turnage is playing the piano in heaven right now. She was my piano teacher for many years. I remember all the good times with Kim and Oscar, who eventually became our little dog. We love you and will see you Saturday.

Bob, what a treasure Heaven has gained! We are out of state and just read in the Richmond paper this morning of Mary's passing. We are asking God to wrap his arms tightly around you as you grieve the loss of one so dear. We will see you when we get back to Richmond later next month. You are in our hearts and prayers. We love you!

Mr. Turnage, Deb, Kim & Bo ~
I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Turnage's death. Even though it has been many years since I have seen your family, I can still see her sweet smile and hear the beautiful music she played on the piano. She was a wonderful role model for everyone who had the honor of knowing her. I have many fond memories of she and your family at Slash and as your babysitter so many years ago. Our love and prayers are with you all.
