Connie and Family,
I wanted to express my condolences on the loss of your mother. My mother (Mary Jane Simmons) told me about your loss. She use to work with your mother at Sussex Courthouse and she has always spoken fondly of her. She told me that your mother is being buried at Reedville which is where she still attends church. My father is also buried there fairly close to the Hogwood’s. My mother still goes out to the cemetery on a regular basis to pull weeds. I met your mother once at a Grandparent’s breakfast that she had come to for Cory and my mother was there for my son Travis. My mother talked about it for weeks and what a nice surprise it was to see her after all those years. I wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you all as I know this is a difficult time.

Connie and Family,
The staff here at the Adult Day Center want to tell you that Elsie is so fondly remembered and we felt like a small part of your family. We were looking at a collection of photos just last week and there were so many of her. As well, we loved the interaction between Elsie and your daughter, especially when she would run into the Center after swimming lessons. Please know that we send you our warmest regards and prayers.
