Timothy R. Harris

HARRIS, Mr. Timothy R., of 3907 Decatur St., departed this life February 21, 2009, at MCV Hospital. Tim was preceded in death by his sister, Tina Harris; and brother, Vance Perry. Tim leaves to cherish his memory one son, Carlos Samuels; mother, Verlena Harris; father, Alphonso Harris; two brothers, Damon Harris and Lonzo Harris (Tanisha); two sisters, Cassandra Harris and Vanessa Perry; three aunts, Hattie Alford (Carl), Grace Hutchinson (Warner) and Ruth Clifton; one uncle, William Thompson; a host of devoted nieces and nephews; and devoted friends, Andrea Alston, Connie Mayo, Moon, Ricky, John, Mason and Tony; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at the Carlton T. Brooks Funeral Home, 2200 Hull St. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2009, at Broomfield C.M.E. Church, 609 Jeff Davis Hwy., where remains will lie in state at 12 noon. Rev. Kathleen Brooks officiating. Interment Maury Cemetery.
