PIERCE, William Casper, departed this life February 24, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Michele J. Pierce; four children, Antonia Penn (Tracy), Anthony R., William C. (Karmalita) and Billena Pierce; two stepsons, Antoine T. and Lance M. London; eight grandchildren; one sister, Hazel P. Long (Earl); four brothers, Roy (Catherine), Otis, Andrew (Arlene) and Louis Pierce; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Chiles Funeral Home, 2100 Fairmount Ave., where the family will receive friends today from 4 to 5 p.m., and where funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VCUHS Massey Cancer Center, P.O. Box 980037, Richmond, Va. 23298--0037 or Hospice of Virginia, 7231 Forest Ave., Suite 100, Richmond, Va. 23226.
