Sherman Minter Obituary

MINTER, Sherman Lee, native of Henry County and a 35-year resident of Chesterfield, died Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Chippenham Medical Center in Richmond. Sherman was an electrician with Northside Electric and retired in 1995. He was a member of the I.B.E.W. and a Master Journeyman Electrician. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Anne Minter; one daughter, Joanna Lupo (Jeffrey); one sister, Alma Minter; two brothers, Wesley Minter (Janice) and Lloyd Minter (Anne Fox); and a special granddaughter, Megan Lupo. A celebration of Sherman's life will be held Sunday, 1 p.m., at the family residence.

Anne and family,

I am so sorry for your lose.Sherman was the go to guy for lawn,tree and plant questions. From the stories he told my husband and I he also had a very full life and loved his family very much. We are just across the street if you need anything or if you just want to talk come on over

i will truly miss Mr.Minter. He was a funny and wonderful man. My thoughts and prayers goes out to Anne and his family. He always kept us laughing at Dr.Kilbourne's office. We all will miss him. He spoke of Megan often. Love to Anne.
