Sherry,
I'm so sorry you've lost the love of your life. Elizabeth Ann and I are very honored your Mom entrusted us with selecting photos from those Ben had included in their 'Picture Frame gift' to have on display for 'his visitation'. Elizabeth Ann has always been a part of your family so nothing was a surprise for her. For me, learning about Ben and his unending love for you and love of life was evident through each. His humor and enthusiasm seemed endless. I know you have many, many pictures to treasure and I'll get you a copy of the SD of the 'frame' pictures to carry along anywhere with you. You have a heart full of treasured memories, though I know none begin to fill the void and emptiness and deep pain you now feel... I'm so sorry!
You can call or email me anytime.

I was so sad to hear about Bennie. We went all through school together and graduated together. He was always a friend to me. My Dad and Bennie's Mom always called each other when Arkansas played football. I miss Bonnie and Big Frank too, especially Frank's singing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.

Sherry, I cannot tell you how sorry I am for your loss. My wife Jan(Simpson) and I knew Benny all our lives I guess. Benny and his dad taught me to water ski when I was around 12. Benny and I spent many good times together, and I cannot recall any bad times till now. I am in total shock at the loss of this special friend. God bless you and all of the family with the knowledge Benny is now fishing with Jesus. Butch & Jan Lester

SHERRY, OUR FAMILIES LIVED SIDE BY SIDE IN JEFFERSON, AND WE WERE ALL LIKE BROTHERS AND SISTERS. WE LOVED EACH OTHERS PARENTS AND ALWAYS PLAYED AT EACH OTHERS HOUSES. BEN WAS THE ONLY ONE FROM HIS FAMILY WHO GOT IN TOUCH WITH OUR FAMILY WHEN MY MOTHER DIED. THE TIME AND DISTANCE WOULD NEVER KEEP OUR CHILDHOOD MEMORIES FROM LIVING OVER AND OVER IN OUR HEARTS. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS FOR HIS GREAT LOSS IN YOUR FAMILY. WE WILL MISS HIM, BUT KNOW HE WAS THE FIRST TO MEET UP WITH BONNIE AND FRANK IN THEIR HOLY HOME. WITH DEEPEST SYMPATHY, EVALEN HAGGARD ZUZUKIN

We are so sorry to hear of little Ben's homegoing...We know he will be missed greatly by all that knew him & esecially his family...The smile he wears in the photo is nothing compared to the one he is wearing now in Heaven...We didn't know him as well as we knew the girls, but, his mother and daddy we knew well & thought the world of them...Such a fine christian family...Again, we are so sorry & prayers are lifted for the family now that God will give you the strength to continue your lives which was so enriched by Ben's presence...Remember all the good times and keep looking UPWARD...God loves you all.....Lean hard on Him and he will guide you through your valley's and carry you to the top of the mountain.....

To all the Broussard family, What joy to know that Bennie is in Heaven rejoicing, and from what I have heard, probably 'at the lake'. I have not lived in Jefferson for many years, but have such fond memories of going to church and school with Bennie & his family. I know that God's comfort will be with you, and I am so thankful that you have so many good memories of Ben. My prayers are with you.

Sherry,
Jean and I were saddened when Barry called Saturday to tell us about Bennie. Bennie and I grew up as next door neighbors and truly knew each other all our lives.
In the '50s and '60s in the small town of Jefferson, we "explored" the neighborhood and played "war" in an old dirt pit we called the canyons. We would also get the neighborhood boys together to play football or baseball at the old football stadium across the street from his house. We played on the same little league baseball team.
When it was time to date, well, Bennie was quite a ladies man. I don't think I will say much more about that, but he had a great personality and was a good friend who will be missed.
Jean was in the band with him and said how much she enjoyed the trips to the games and events. He was a good friend of hers too.

To Ben's Family,

Our hearts are saddened that we have lost not only a co-worker, but also a friend. Ben really cared about people, and if he could do anything to make someone smile, then you can bet he would do it! He was loyal and dedicated to his job, but you could never have a conversation with Ben that he didn't speak of his family. Much of our conversations revealed his soul, and his compassion for others.

You, the family of Ben, have our deepest sympathy as you feel the loss of a husband, a father, a brother or a dearly loved uncle. We at Radiac shall miss Ben as a friend, and are grateful for the time we were privileged to know him.

Sherry,
I was deeply saddened to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Hold on to what is good even if it is a handful of earth.
Hold on to what you believe even if it is a tree which stands by itself.
Hold on to what you must do even if it is a long way from here.
Hold on to life even when it is easier letting go.
Hold on to my hand even when I have gone away from you
