Mark Lesko Obituary

LESKO, Mark E., 25, of Chester, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2009. He has now joined his grandparents, Edward and Valerie Polasko. Mark graduated from Thomas Dale High School in 2001 and continued his education at John Tyler Community College. He enjoyed flying with his brother, Bryan, and had begun the process of becoming an airline dispatcher. He was currently a general class amateur H.A.M. operator. Mark loved golf and music, and he was a wonderful cook. He participated in the Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10K as well. He is survived by his wife, Erica Branscomb Lesko; parents, Greg and Lynn Lesko; brother, Bryan Lesko and his girlfriend, Ashley Prisant, of Lexington, Kentucky; father and mother-in-law, Charlie and Linda Branscomb of Sandston, Virginia; brother-in-law, Matthew Branscomb; and numerous aunts, uncles and other family members. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 from 6 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Vasculitis Foundation in memory of Mark Lesko, P.O. Box 28660, Kansas City, Mo. 64188-8660. Condolences to the family may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com
