PERGERSON, Joseph "Joe" Jr., was born on July 18, 1930 to the late Joseph and Mary Pergerson of Chester, Va. He departed this life on August 11, 2009 in his home in Chester, Va. He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife, Norma; four sons, Gregory Pergerson (Ronnia), Ken Pergerson, Marvin Moses (Linnie), Allen Swan (Kimberly); three daughters, Joyce Baugh (Ronnie), Renee Pearson (Gene), Julia Ann Brown; three sisters, Mamie Taylor, Zelma Jones (Charles), Florence Hancock (George); 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, many loving and devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull Street, where the family will receive friends Friday (today), 6 to 7 p.m., and where funeral services will be held Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. Brother Greer officiating. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. Friends please assemble at Mimms Chapel at 10 a.m.
