Happened upon this, to the family -- please know she will always be loved and remembered by my husband Warren and I -- in our youths, she led each of us, separately, and years apart, to the Lord. We and our children/grandchildren are a part of her legacy. Kathy and Warren Smith, Spotsylvania, VA (formerly Alexandria, VA)

I know that May will be missed by her family and all that knew her well. Be comforted by the knowledge that she deeply believed in her faith and that she lived by example. Molly and I enjoyed the times she and Al visted with us and have missed that in recent years.

Dear Family,
My mother (Cleo) said it right regarding Sunday School in Mae's class. I remember looking forward to being in the 8th grade, because I knew I would be in Mrs. Crums class. She never disappointed. She was such a good teacher, and she didn't mince words in making sure we heard even the hard truths of Scripture, and she was both challenging and loving each Sunday. I loved her dearly. I will be praying for the family during this time. I remember babysitting for the Frye children--my special hugs to them and love to you all!

Dear Family,
Chuck and I were surprised to hear of the passing to glory of our dear friend and sister in Christ. I loved her so much and will never forget singing alto beside her in the Engleside Baptist Church choir for many years, trying to lose pounds with her (over and over again), and having her teach Sunday School to my daughters. We always knew that whatever she taught them would be the "truth." We will miss her but are comforted that she is now with the Lord. It's easier to deal with when you know she just got a big promotion from this earth. We love you all and our prayers are with you.
