David was a great storyteller and all of those adventures in life helped to make those stories so interesting. Some of his favorite stories came from his truck driving days. Although he worked many days in a row and long hours, he got to see a lot of the country by driving. It was his "Smokey and the Bandit" era.
He is survived by life partner Beth Miller her son Zeb Miller, daughter Emmily Pruitt (Dan) grandson Waylon, son Jacob Miller (Emily), granddaughter Elianna, Grandson James, Sister Christina Scott, her 3 daughters Jennifer, Janice, Jill, their children and grandchildren. David loved God. He believed in Jesus. We know he is in Heaven. He prayed daily for his friends and family. He loved his family near and far. He was a loyal friend. He loved our country and was a patriot. He loved being "papa" to his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed, but we know we will connect in heaven when we get there.
