Yvonne Kay Gilpin Gregory

GREGORY, Yvonne Kay Gilpin, 74, formerly of Richmond, Va., and Harrisburg, Pa., entered into eternal rest Friday, August 14, 2009, at Bradford Oaks nursing and Rehab Center in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Larry Gregory, formerly of Harrisburg, Pa.; and son, Gregory D. Wilkerson, formerly of Upper Marlboro, Md. Surviving are her brother, Leslie Gilpin (Jacqueline), of Sarasota, Fla.; daughter-in-law, Alfreda Hill-Wilkerson, of Upper Marlboro, Md.; nephew, Geoff Gilpin (Maria), of Winterpark, Fla.; grandsons, Damon McNeil (Lakeshia), George Wilkerson, and James White, all of Maryland; devoted friends, Marietta Teele, Lucille Green, June Schultz and Annie Hill; godson, Ian Shultz; caregiver, Madelyn Harris; other relatives and friends. She was employed with Richmond Public Schools where she taught for many years, and retired from Chesterfield County Public Schools. Remains rest at Scotts Funeral Home, 115 E. Broolkand Park Blvd., Richmond, Va., where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2009. Rev. Willie Woodson officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
