I feel so blessed to have had Emily in our lives. She was one of a kind. I can honestly say that my children as well as myself are better for having known such a gentle, thoughtful, and kind woman.

I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Emily. My life has been blessed by her words of wisdom and loving friendship. She surely will be missed in our neighborhood; she always had a kind word and a warm wave as I passed her home. Our prayers and love is extended to Mr. Ashby and family. The Lord received an angel.

Family-
I will always remember: when your mom & my grandmother gave extras at lunch, trips to Colonial Beach,the late night rides up on Skyline Drive w/ our "gang", and I will remeber that your mom kept a smile.
