Winburn Cosby Obituary

COSBY, Winburn Lee, 75, of Powhatan, son of the late Hugh and Sallie Cosby, died August 27, 2009. He was preceded in death by a brother, Hugh W. Cosby Jr., and two sisters, Evelyn Cosby and Dorothy Rice. He is survived by two sisters, Alma Pope of Bon Air and Margaret Higham of Powhatan, and brother, Rev. James Mason Cosby of Powhatan. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m. in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, 1100 Huguenot Springs Rd., Midlothian, Va. 23113. Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, Powhatan conducting service.
