My condolences to Bob's family and his friends for their loss. Bob and I worked together for the Army at Johnston Atoll. He was a very nice guy, good at his job, and a friend to many people. He'll be missed.

My Sincere sympathy for all of Bob's children, from what I know of Bob he was a good man, I was one of hid first sister in laws from Fayetteville N.C. he married my sister Aulby Louise Edwards and they had one son Robert Dean Knoll Jr.,though Bob did not know his oldest son till later in life they grew a bond between them and "Deamie" is really saddened by his father's death, he did not get to see him nearly enough to make up for all the years he never knew him but he did grow to love him as a father, Bob was a good man, served well for out Country and made that his life trying to keep us safe, God will take care of Bob, and Bob give my "our" mother a hug for us when you see her up there in Heaven because I know that is where you are not, not hurting any more and for that we should all be Happy for you, we will all miss you everyday and think of you often,, God's speed Bob
