MARROW, Mr. Samuel H. Sr., 88, departed this life September 9, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vernelle A. Marrow. He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Veda M. Bellamy (Walt) and Janice M. Coles; one son, Samuel H. Marrow Jr. (Marilyn); seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, devoted caregivers, Eugene and Shelletta Woody; and a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., where the family will recieve friends Monday, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Remains will lie in state Tuesday, 12 noon at Breaking Every Shackle Ministries, 3455 Broad Rock Blvd., where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Dr. Theodore L. Hughey, officiating. Burial services Wednesday, September 16, 2009, 11 a.m. at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, Va. Family and friends kindly assemble at the funeral home Wednesday at 9 a.m.
