Every time I saw Uncle Elsner, he was smiling and always made me smile. I hope to live my life as fully as he did. To everyone who knew and loved him, my thoughts are with you today.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Fond memories of Florida from Unc saying that he will be standing on my mom's shoulders to our swooping him up from the Park during one of Florida's many hurricanes.

Papa was always there for me, willing to help me and willing to pickup and go do something with me....from taking me to "play" golf as a kid (really, I think I liked driving the golf cart the most - I'm sure sending a scare thru him at times too), to taking me to the World 600 Nascar race in Charlotte, to going to the 1996 Orange Bowl to see Virginia Tech play Nebraska. One of my greatest dreams is to continue that legacy with my grandchildren one day...one that will hopefully create as many memories for them as Papa created for me.
I celebrate his life.
I love you Papa.
