I am so sorry to hear of Ernie's passing. He was one of my Dad's, Eugene Collins, best friends. They loved working on motors and playing music together. Mom & Dad went down to Ernie & Inez's house many times to eat and play music. My Dad passed away 7 years ago. Ernie had visited my Mom several times since Dad's passing. I know Dad is rejoicing in heaven to see "Mr. Sheppard", as he would call him, and they are playing music together with their other music playing friend who passed, Gladys Walden. Again, my prayers are with your family--I know you will miss him.
