Another school year has started and you are so missed. It will never be the same without you, you were so true, inside and out. My son Andrew remembers his favorite Kindergarten teacher. You are still so loved. What a beautiful angel, Tammy Aylor Cooke

Miss Judd, everytime I drive down 29 i see your house up on that hill at the very edge of clairmont and can't help but think of you and the time I spent there. I fondly think of our times at the rec club. My favorite memory of you if when we marched in the 4th of July parade. I remember how funny you were in the back of the truck cheering everybody up because none of us really wanted to be there lol. I love you so much and I know that your in heaven smiling down on everyone. You might not know it but you really helped me through some tough times just by being there to talk to. I will always love you and miss you.

I am so sorry for your loss and so sorry for taking so long to express it. It was shocking for me to hear as all I can ever remember about Lizza was her incredible smile and spirit. Although in different circles, I remember her as a vibrant soul and I trust she is once again smiling on all of you as she has found peace. The memory of her life will live on. May God richly bless you at this time and in the days ahead.

Dearest Johnny,
Roland and I send our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to you during this difficult and saddest of time.
We did not know Lizza but she must of been a fine lady for you to chose as a wife and a stepmother for Alex. Please be assurred that your love for her was all you could do for her and knowing you, you DID give her an abundance of love and kindness even when life was not so easy. We do not understand why the Lord does the things he does especially the stuff that hurt so much but, we just have to trust he has a plan and because of his promised blessings HIS plan will one day make sense. When life looks bleak, just remember the Lord will wrap his arms around you on those cold and lonely times and see you though another moment of sadness, with his embrace. I personally know how challenging life can be and all the love in the world doesn't always make it easier, but with a love you shared with Lizza, you made Lizza life more fulfillling.

Lastly,
Whenever you feel that Summer breeze make you smile, remember that it is not the Lord wrapping his arms around you, but THIS summer breeze will be GOD's loveliest and newest angel (Lizza)holding you until the pain passes and you can carry on another day...And with each new day you will find courage and hope for the Lord promised us that if you believe you will receive.

Dearest Johnny,
Roland and I send our deepest thoughts and prayers to you during this difficult time. Although we did not know Lizza we KNOW she must have been a fine lady for you to chose as a wife and stepmother for Alex. I PERSONALLY understand the challenges Lizza suffered and DO KNOW that YOU nor the children especially Alex were not the cause of her pain!!!! Your love made her life easier and a happier place to live.
God sent you in her life to make her life a better place. NEVER forget that.
Lastly, just know GOD will wrap his arms around you and the children when you need a hug, (and although GOD is hugging you) his prettiest angel is actually delivering the hug, just to remind you that her hugs are the reason you loved her so very much.

Love,
The Minners

May the God of all undeserved kindness comfort you in this time of sorrow. God has promised to be there to help you and he will. God is near to all those broken at heart (Psalm 34:18) Never does anyone need God more than at times like these, when they lose someone they love. Psalm 34:17 says out of all my distresses he delivered me.

When I remember Lizza - I remember an ear to ear BEAUTIFUL smile, always put together and very pretty. Always kind, energetic and physically fit. Most of all that smile, it was special.

I'm sorry for both family's sorrow and pain.

I will lovingly remember my "sis" Lizza forever. We were both recognized as TEACHERS OF THE YEAR in Culpeper County, and knowing I shared that title with my sis, made it all the sweeter. Loved her like a sister. Her kids were a joy and a gift to teach. To my beautiful "other family", the Ferlazzos, you know how much I love and adore you. xxxooo Kathy H."Crazy"

Lizza was a beautiful spirit inside and out and touched me a way words can hardly express. She was my very first friend when I moved to Virginia from New York as a newlywed. I was immediately drawn to her beautiful smile and her love of life and we became instant friends! We shared so many precious moments together as new teachers, new wives, new mothers and we often said we were the sister we both never had. She will forever be in my heart and I will cherish the many memories we shared. To her loving family, her beautiful children, and her husband, may the Lord sustain you and keep you in the palm of his hand.... Her light shines on.
