Although the last few months seem to have come and gone, I can say that Stacy and I think about Eamon and the terrible loss it has been to those who knew him; but none more than to Caryn, Morgan and Avery and his family. We still think about him and wish only the best for his family

Dear family,

A few months have gone by and the loss of Eamon is still a daily thought for me. He is deeply missed. I will always remember the great times we shared and am comforted in the fact that he lived a rewarding life, from his marriage to Caryn, the birth of his children and all of the times he shared with his friends and family. I keep in touch with a number of friends of Eamon's in NYC and everyone is still grieving his loss and are thinking of you, Caryn and the kids. I know time heels everything, but Eamon was 1 in a million and will never be forgotten. Please feel free to contact myself or Kristen if there is anything you need.

I had the honor of getting to know Eamon while attending college at SUNY Farmingdale back in 1986. Eamon was one of the nicest, kindest and gentle Men I have ever met and he will be dearly missed as a friend. I just found out this horrible news over the weekend and wish I had known sooner.
My heart goes out to his wife and children and his friendship and contagious laugh will forever be missed.
God Bless You Eamon and may you rest in peace.

I learned the news of Eamon's death in mid-march, and immediately thought of his family. Eamon and I worked at the Rockefeller Foundation together so, I only met his wife and first daughter on one occasion, but still feel great compassion for them at this time. We traded emails once or twice since we left the Foundation, quick hellos. I can’t say that I shared a great deal with him, just your run of the mill experiences at the office. We gossiped over office politics. He definitely had a good sense of humor but for me he will always be one of the faces gathered around the window on 9/11, we witnessed the second explosion of the World Trade Center from the 28th floor. I will always think of him as a good person. My sincerest condolences to the entire Desacia Family.

Dear Desacia Family,
I just heard the tragic news about Eamon. I knew Eamon through work, but he quickly became a friend. One could not hope to meet a warmer, kinder person. He was great fun to be with, and it shocks me and greatly saddens me to think he has gone. You will miss him enormously, and I'd like to extend my very deepest sympathy.

Though I only knew Eamon for the past year, and primarily through business, I had the good fortune to have recently had dinner with him. We had some lively conversation about sports, the Oil industry and golfing in winter! Eamon struck me as a very genuine and insightful person - always open new impressions. We had many long chats comparing ideas about the oil industry and whether there might be a golf course worth playing in Alberta - the problem was we only ever visited there in the middle of winter!
Our regular conversations will surely be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. At times like these we learn to cherish the fond memories and appreciate our family and good friends.

Dear Caryn and family

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. No words can adequately express our sadness and sorrow, as you cope with this tragic loss. Eamon was a wonderful person and we will all miss him. I not only enjoyed working with him, but especially appreciated his enthusiasm, effort and accomplishments. He was great to work with and he never disappointed. More recently we had a few laughs about the fact that he was moving to Port Washington, where I grew up, but that he was constantly finding new projects to complete, from kitchens to windows, which only served to further delay the move into this new home. All in good fun, I think we actually convinced him that he needed to be there Halloween to make sure his house was not targeted by those disappointed by its vacancy. I regret we never got around to that evening of single malts and cigars we were planning. I am sure it would have been a lot of fun. I know I speak for all of us at Guardian, when I say that while we will miss Eamon, he and your family will always be in our hearts. With deepest sympathy, our sincere condolences to you and your family.

Respectfully
