Richard Seales Obituary

Seales, Richard J. Sr. WATERFORD Richard J. Seales Sr., 62, of Davis Avenue, Water-ford, died at St. Mary's Hospital, Troy on Monday, March 24, 2008 after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born and educated in Troy and was the son of the late Walter F. and Helen Cropsey Seales. He was a pressman for Albany Times Union for 20 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He belonged to the Pleasantdale Rod & Gun Club. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Baillargeon Seales of Waterford. He is survived by his children, Richard J. Seales Jr. and his wife Cathy of Greenfield Center and Michael S. Seales of Attleboro, Mass.; grandfather of Richard J. Seales III, Matthew Seales and Ryan M. Seales, all of Greenfield Center; brother of Walter F. Seales. Jr. of S.D. and Lynn Frandsen of Fla. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, Cohoes. Contributions may be made in Richard's memory to Hospice of Rensselaer County or American Cancer Society. Arrangements by the Dufresne Funeral Home, Inc., Cohoes.
