Margaret,
What a shock. I could not believe that you were gone on Easter morning. I am happy though, that you got your wish to die while sleeping. I will miss our phone calls and our movies on Sundays. I will miss you always. No one can take your place.
Love,
Your Best Friend,
Rosemary

I am so sorry to hear of the passing Of margaret. I will miss her tremendously. I remember growing up at bluegrass festivals and always seeing Tom & Margaret listening and never missing a show. She has been a member of the Adirondack Bluegrass LEague for many years and before that the SMokey Greene Fan CLub. Margaret would always try to help my mother at the Smokey Greene Booth. She would go home with MANY ITEMS. She was a kind and caring person and I always looked foward to talking with her. She always cared about what I was doing. I wish I had known sooner so I could have attended her wake. She will be missed by myself, and the Adirondack Bluegrass League. Our condolences for your loss.

Tom, Alona, Robert, Kathlene and Donna...I'm so sorry about the loss of your mother. May God comfort you as she is welcomed into His Kingdom.
Maragret was always very special to me. I have many fond childhood memories of both of your parents and the many laughs and fun times we shared are your home in Sherwood Park.
I'll never forget Margaret's laugh and smile. She will be missed.

I'm sorry my family responsibilities kept me from sharing these thoughts with Margaret's friends and family tonight. Margaret and Tom Stanley were among the first fans that the Hilltown Ramblers had when we were just starting out and they would come to every gig. We would even practice at their home sometimes. No matter how bad we were they always encouraged us to keep at it. It buoyed us so to see Margaret from time to time after Tom's passing. I think Margaret's smile said the same thing to everyone- LOVE. I'm sure she's with Tom listening to some fine bluegrass right now. We are all blessed for having crossed their pathes. All our best from all the Hilltown Ramblers.

Aunt Margaret
Even though we are saddened beyond words that you have made the journey to Heaven, we know that you are happy to be with Tommy, Nan and Pa. Like the Lighthouses you treasured so dearly, your light will shine on us from Heaven as you journey through our Lord’s Kingdom. Yes, your passing saddens us very much, but the memory of your love and kindness will live with us forever. God Bless You

AND SHE LOOKED FORWARD TO OUR CORNY CHRISTMAS LETTERS, WHICH ONLY A GREAT PERSON COULD DO.

My family and I are deeply saddened by Aunt Margarets passing. She was such a loving and kind woman and I was so fond of her. When my grandmother (Margarets Sister, Del) passed away, I stayed with Aunt Margaret at her apartment for a few days when I flew up from Florida. We had such a a nice visit durring a very trying time in both of our lives. I will truly never forget her - but I know she is in heaven with Tommy and Nanny - playing a great game of cards I am sure.

It has been quite a few years since I've seen Aunt Margaret, but I will always remember her. She was always so bubbly and friendly when we were kids we loved to be around her. When she would come to FL. to visit Nanny and PA Hoffman we would always laugh!!!!!! You will greatly be missed!!!

Our sympathy on the loss of your Mom, Grandmom and Great Grandmom.
I can still remember going to Christmas Eve at your California Avenue house when I was very little(when there were no other houses around) and eating snacks and opening a gift. It is something that always stuck out as a special time between our families.
