Gen,
I was very sorry to hear about your grandmother's passing. This is never easy for the ones left behind. You were fortunate to be able to be there for her, and for your family.

Music, when soft voices die

Music, when soft voices die,
Vibrates in the memory—
Odours, when sweet violets sicken,
Live within the sense they quicken.

Rose leaves, when the rose is dead,
Are heaped for the belovèd's bed;
And so thy thoughts, when thou art gone,
Love itself shall slumber on.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. I remember "Grandma"and "Grandpa" taking their nightly strolls around the neighborhood and sitting on the swinging bench. The angels are watching over her now and we will see each other again some day.
