Maurice P. Padula

Padula, Maurice P. CLIFTON PARK Maurice P. Padula, of Clifton Park, died at age 78. Maurice was born May 6, 1930 in Albany and died June 6, 2008 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center in Guilderland after a long illness. He was the son of the late Maurice and Dorothy Duva Padula and was the loving husband of the late Josephine Padula. Maurice was a veteran and served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked for Mohawk Brush in Albany for many years until it closed and then he worked for GE in Schenectady as a machine operator in the turbine division. He was a communicant of Corpus Christi Church and St. Vincent de Paul Church in Albany He lived in Clifton Park for the past 16 years. Maurice was the devoted father of two children, Maurice J. Padula of Albany and Marilyn and her husband Joseph Tronco of Clifton Park; three brothers, Anthony, Rocco and Richard Padula; and a cherished grandson, Joseph Tronco. Calling hours will be Monday from 4-8 p.m. in the Catricala Funeral Home, Inc., 1597 Rte. 9, Clifton Park. There will be a Mass at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Corpus Christi Church in Round Lake.
