George Frueh Obituary

Frueh, George C. GLENMONT George C. Frueh, 70, died Thursday, June 19, 2008 at the Albany Medical Center. Born and educated in Albany, he was the son of the late George W. and Adeline (Stoffels) Frueh. George was a self-employed contractor and farmer. He was a member of the New York Farm Bureau and a 50-year member of the Bethlehem Grange. Brother of Elaine Frueh Christopher, Peter K. (Donna) Frueh, James D. Frueh and David (Gail) Frueh; beloved uncle of Christopher Frueh, Heather Constantine, Myra Lewis, Philip Christopher, David Frueh, Michael Frueh and the late Thomas Christopher; also survived by eight grandnieces and grandnephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:00 a.m. Monday in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 125 Eagle St., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany, on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Glen-mont. Those who wish may make memorial contributions in George's name to the Salvation Army, 20 So. Ferry St., Albany, NY 12202.
