June Baker Obituary

Baker, June Lynn "Jlynn" (Gansky) SCOTIA June Lynn "JLynn" (Gansky) Baker, 47, of Scotia, passed away at Ellis Hospital on Sunday, June 8, 2008 following a long illness. Born in Olivia, Minn. on October 19, 1960, she was the daughter of Gilford J. Gansky and the late Barbara J. (George) Gansky. She was raised and educated in Albany, and a lifelong area resident. June will be remembered by her family and friends as a caring, dedicated and helpful friend to anyone in need. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Baker in 1996. In addition to her father, June is survived by her siblings, Rick Gansky of Schenectady, twin sister Jane (James) Schmiedel of Schenectady, Mark Gansky of Guilderland and Kirk (Andrea) Gansky of Stillwater; six nieces, four nephews. She also has twin grandnieces and one grandnephew and a very special person, Wendy, her daughter who has always been in her heart and thoughts. On Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Light's Funeral Home, 1428 State St., Schenectady the family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 6 p.m. immediately followed by a memorial service to be held at 6 p.m.
