Beverly Irvine

Irvine, Beverly WATERVLIET Beverly A. Irvine, 65, of Fort Myers, Fla. and formerly of Watervliet, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2008. Beverly was born December 3, 1942 in Troy, N.Y. to Irving and Frances (Wilson) Wood. She moved to Fort Myers in 2006 from Watervliet, N.Y. Having come from a long line of caregivers, Beverly retired as a home health aide and raised seven children of her own. She was active in healthcare even in her later years, having served as president of the Residential Council at Lehigh Rehabilitation Center (formerly Cross-Key Manor). Beverly will be remembered as a spunky lady and a woman of faith. She attended Grace Bible Church in Fort Myers. Beverly leaves behind a legacy of seven children, Eleanor (James) Shephard of Fort Myers, Fla., Lee (Sheila) Irvine of Cohoes, John (Mona) Irvine of Ballston Spa, James (Jeanine) Irvine of Ballston Spa, Mary (Brian) Harrison of Ballston Spa, Russell (Mandy) Irvine of Cohoes and Michael Irvine (Sarah McChensey) of Ballston, Spa; 18 grandchildren; six great-grand-children; one brother and one sister. Beverly is preceded in death by her loving husband, Lee Irvine Sr. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 14, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. at Newcomer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Avenue).
