On a recent trip back to the area I learned of Carol's passing. Although we haven't seen each other in many, many years the impact of losing Carol, a warm, caring individual was like a six inch valley in the middle of my soul. I recall her infectious smile, the radiance that emanated from her laugh, the stories she'd share. It's been a long time, but memories of Carol are tattooed on my heart. My prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

my mother was a good friend of Carol's Mom and when I read about her passing I knew my mother would want me to send a note of sympathy to the family. We were so saddened when Roger told us of Carol's passing. As you know, she was such a wonderful friend and source of great support for my sister Anne when she progressed through her battle with cancer. Anne found such great comfort and joy in Carol's kind words and friendship. We could never thank Carol enough for all her support for Anne. I know how hard it must have been for Carol to attend Anne's funeral and numerous Mass remembrances, but she did which showed the great courage and strength that Carol graciously exhibited throughout her own illness. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families as you mourn Carol's passing. I am sure God has a very special place in heaven for all cancer victims and may they now rest eternally in God's great peace. Please accept our heartfelt condolences!

I can't even begin to tell all of you how much I will miss Carol. I looked forward to the days that I worked for her. We would always start the day by sharing stories and they were mostly about our kids! And she was so proud of you all, whenever she talked about any of you she would just smile from ear to ear.
She was always concerned about my health issues no matter what she was going through, such an inspiration to me. And really taught every one around her how to live for the moment.
I will always remember her smile, laughter, sincerity, compassion and the love that she always had for anyone she came in touch with.

I first met Carol at Holy Names Academy. She was always a ball of sunshine. Fun and smiley. Always having a postive attitude.Recently I would see her at St. Pius during the week, faithfully attending and praying. Her faith and family were most important to her.
