To the Barber family- So sorry to hear about the passing of your father. He and your mother were friends of my parents. I don't know
if Debbie remembers, she was a senior and cheerleader at Columbia High School when I was a lowly freshman , I always remember how nice she was to me on the after-school activities bus. Hope you kind
find some kind of comfort knowing that the people who were acquainted with your father (as well as with other family members) were
touched by all that he and they
did . I will always remember the rousing funny song both your father and mother sang at the party after my wedding reception.
In sympathy,
Deborah Frichette-Kurecka
(daughter of Charles Frichette and
wife of Chuck Kurecka- does that ring a bell? )

My sincerest condolences to the Barber family. I was so shocked to hear of the loss of your father and sister. I remember when I was about 8 years old, Mister Barber helped me get out of a tree that I was stuck in. I remember Moe dating my cousin Charles, and Debbie, I still think of you often, with very fond memories. Ann Marie and Stevie also...please accept my heartfelt wishes....always, your childhood friend, Johnny Carr

To the Barber Family.....again, my sincere condolences. I can't imagine the pain and shock you are feeling. I will be forever grateful that your parents stood by us and supported us when my Dad was in intensive care in Florida. They were like second parents to us. I will never forget the time your Dad made me a "deer meat" burger and didn't tell me until I finished it, and all the times he took me to Rhinebeck with you on vacation. May you always feel that your father is with you for he lives on in our life and in the lives of all those who knew him.

To The Barber Family:
I was very shocked and sad to hear of the passing of your Dad and Sister. Maureen was a good friend and the Godmother to my Son Bobby and I knew your Dad my whole life. My Father Sy Fischer (88) sends his condolences also.

Toall of my dear Cousins and your families,
I cannot feel your pain, as I go through my own of our loss. Although I know that neither Maureen or Uncle Fritz will ever be in pain again, and they are now living with our Savior Jesus Christ, I will miss them.
Uncle Fritzie, has always been my hero, and mentor. Since my earliest years of rememberance, I can barely remember him, as he carried me around before his Navy years.
All of my memories of both him and Aunt Isabel and their love for me, I will keep as long as I live, locked in my heart.
Dear sweet Maureen, although I have not seen her since childhood, I remember how beautiful she was with her pretty curls and loving ways.
I will hold all of you in my daily Prayers and pray that you too will
never let one day go by without giving Thanks and Praise for all He has done for our families.
I love you all,
Karen LaMountain

Debbie, Ann Marie & Steven,
I am so sorry for your loss. You know your Dad was like a second Father to me. I feel as if I have lost my Father all over again. So glad I got to visit with him last year. Our parents are once again all together, happy and free of pain.
I don't know what to say to you about the loss of Maureen, my childhood friend. What a shock. I will keep you all in my prayers.
Love, Judy Shannon
