I am sad by the write up or lack there of for such a tremendous person. It never mentions his many years of employment with the NYS Senate - where he made us smile on a daily basis. I am certain God is now smiling, now that Tibbs has arrived!

When I heard Tibbs was gone I could not believe it, he was one of the sweetest men I knew, he was always cheerful and had a smile on his face. He will be sorely missed in the capitol and I am sure many of us will be looking for him to pop up in the evevator or hallways. We hope he will be happy in Heaven. Marlene

To Roy and the entire Tibbs family and friends. I want to convey my sincere condolences in the loss of your brother Wilfred. I had not seen him in years until two weeks ago when I ran into him at the Empire State Plaza. He smiled and I did too as we recognized one another. Then I made a jump shot motion and he really smiled then. He was a very good basket ball player during our days at the projects playground. I want you to know that I will remember you all in prayer.

To the Tibbs Family: I would like to express my condolences on the loss of your brother. Tibbs as he was affectionately known, was a gentle soul, we became good friends while working in the Capitol. He loved to make jokes, and always had a smile on his face, whenever I saw him. We would often run into each other at the newstand in the Capitol, to put in our lucky numbers, or play a couple scratch off tickets. He will be truly missed. I know he's an angel up there in heaven looking down on us.
