I hope you know that the people who have known Dan their whole lives are grieving with you. You are not alone. I also wanted to say that you saved my Forsythia bush from being pulled out, Danielle. I just can't look at it as an over-grown nuisance anymore. Thank you, and your dad, for reminding me to see the beauty that made me plant it in the first place.

We have known the Hudak Family since we moved to East Greenbush in 1984. They were a model family for our community and neighborhood. They were super supportive as businessmen and neighbors. I loved visiting with Mrs. Hudak when she hung out the laundry, and still remember Mr. Hudak enjoying handing out candy at holiday time. I didn't know Andrea too well, but David and Daniel took care of our cars for over 25 years and we always knew we could depend on them. My Dad used to say, "I'd rather see a sermon, than hear one any day" and they were a living sermon to us and others. May Danielle and her brothers, Sydney and Savannah know how much others recognized what a special legacy they share and carry it forward. I'm sure their family members in heaven will be rooting for them in the days and months ahead, as they mourn, remember and continue the journey of life in this world. The Landas Family

Todd, Rick and Danielle,

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. I was glad to be able to see him when we were home in December to see Audrey. I know how much he enjoyed staying in the apartment. Your dad will always be remember not only as a a solid and caring member of the church, but also as a caring and compassionate person. He was truly a special person and considered a part of our family ( as are all of you). GOD tells us "I will honor him that honors Me." I know that while your dad now rests, GOD will not forget His promise and He will honor your dad.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you

I am so sorry for your loss. I know there are no words sufficient for comfort, but I pray that you and your family will be comforted with loving memories.
He was a great friend to a transient student and made my time at Troy a wonderful experience. Thank God for him and that I met him.
God bless you.

Dan Hudak was a good friend to my Mother and helped her during her terminal illness. He was alway friendly to us rowdy kids. My Mother was close to Andrea, David and Dan. Dan Hudak came all the way to Virginia for my high school graduation. It was nice to have some of my church family there as my Mom couldn't be. I will remember Dan as a true friend and Christian helping others in their time of need.

Dan will always be remembered for his deep devotion to the things of God. He was a straight shooter. When you spoke to him you knew exactly where he stood. His dedication to meeting the needs of others is a testimony to his close walk with Jesus. He truly will be missed by both his own family and his church family.
