Shirley Drooz Obituary

Drooz, Shirley SAN DIEGO, Calif. Shirley Rosenblum Drooz, age 86, of San Diego, died on Friday, July 13, 2008 in San Diego. Mrs. Drooz was born in Omaha, Neb. and was a graduate of Nebraska University. She had been an Albany resident from 1947 to 1997 at which time she moved to San Diego. She was married to Harold Jay Drooz until his passing in 1997. Harold passed away just short of their 50th anniversary. She is survived by two sons, Alan Drooz and his wife Jane of San Diego and David Drooz and his wife Geri of Pittsford, N.Y. Grandmother of Steven, Daniel and Jamie Drooz. Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Eva and Horace Rosenblum and a younger brother, Hubert who passed away earlier this year at the age of 81. Services at the Beth Emeth Cemetery, Turner Lane, Loudon-ville, N.Y., on Friday July 25, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions in memory of Shirley may be made to the Friends of the Library of the American Heart Association.

So sorry to here about Shirley,she was a very nice person, always good to me and my family. We lived across the street from each other for years on Marwwod. My thoughts are with your family at this time.

So very saddened to learn that Shirley passed away. She was a dear friend, especially to my Sister, Esther Katz, of blessed memory. My prayers and sympathy to all the family.
