David Park Obituary

Park, David A. POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. David A. Park, 62, passed away at his home with his family by his side on Wednesday, July 16, 2008. Predeceased by his parents, Renee and Walter Park of Colonie, N.Y. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Susan Flynn Park; daughter, Lisa (John) Pesnichak, son, Jonathan and daughter, Elizabeth. David is also survived by his former wife, Linda Kennedy; his brother, Brian (Nancy) Park; and nieces and nephews, Nathan (Lisa) Park, Ian (Brooke) Park, Jesse Park, Alison Vogelien, Devon Sharafanovich and Theodore Robinson. David worked for many years in the field of property management, and most recently director of leasing for the Westage Company of Fishkill, N.Y. David had a passion for photography and his work was represented in numerous juried competitions. A photograph taken at the Dutchess County Fair and was used in a recent publication of Dutchess County Tourism brochure. Visitation is Thursday, 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home, 371 Hooker Avenue, Poughkeepsie. A memorial service will be held Friday, July 25, 2008 at 11 a.m. in Christ Episcopal Church, 20 Carroll St., Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
