Floyd Coonradt Obituary

Coonradt, Floyd E. AVERILL PARK Floyd E. Coonradt, 86, of Orient Ave., died on Monday, July 21, 2008 at his residence after a brief illness. Born in the town of Nassau, he was the son of the late Albert and Marion Goodermote Coonradt and husband of the late Margaret Pratt Coonradt. Floyd had lived in Averill Park since 1965. He had worked for AlTech, Adirondack Foundry, the Sand Lake and Nassau Highway Departments, before retiring in 1984 from Carpenters Union #370 in Albany where he had been a carpenter. Floyd was the father of the late Paul F. Coonradt and brother of the late Vernon Coonradt. Survivors include a brother, Richard Coonradt of Nassau; his longtime companion, Elizabeth Hoffman and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service Thursday 11 a.m. at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel, 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake, Averill Park. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the chapel on Thursday 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Interment, Hillside Cemetery, West Stephentown. If desired, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 7 Washington Square, Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Floyd E. Coonradt.
