Dear Joe and children,
Mother just called me and told me of Cynthia's passing and I wanted to send you my deepest sympathies and condolences. Cynthia was such a lovely, sincere and caring lady and will be missed by all who knew her. Every now and then Mother would tell me, "Oh, I saw Cynthia Farleigh recently and she asked about you - she always asks about how you and the boys are doing." Of course I would always say in return, "The next time you see her or Joe, please give them my best regards." I am so very very sorry for your loss; Joe - your life partner, Joe and Stephen your Mother and the little ones, Grammy. I know how this is such a very painful time for you all. Cynthia is now at peace with God and God is with you as well. You all are in my heart and prayers.

Cynthia will be missed by many. She was my mother's longest and best friend for well over 55 years, which says something wonderful about both of them. She became my friend as well. I will remember going antiquing in Shupp's Grove and sharing recipes.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.

To Joe and the entire Farleigh family I wanted to offer my heartfelt sympathy in the passing of your beloved Mother. I want to encourage you in the words of the Apostle Paul who referred to the passing of a Christian “as going from labor to reward.” I realize that your hearts are full of sorrow but the Apostle John said,”let not your hearts be troubled neither let it be afraid for in my Father’s house are many mansions and I go to prepare a place for you ...” I trust that you will be comforted by Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour. Sincerely

Cynthia, my dear friend, was such an inspiration to me. We shared some real heart-to-heart conversations and I will miss her tremendously. Even though I haven't known Cynthia for a real long time, we became close friends these past few years. I am so sorry it had to end this way. My heart goes out to Joe and her family. Cynthia was always such a lady and spoke so elegantly. There is no doubt in my mind she was one of the best Mom's in the world. I know her devotion and christian faith has won her a direct flight to heaven. God bless you, my friend. Suffer no more.
